Elpys has been built to manage intelligence not just record data. Beyond data management, intelligence management is essential for optimizing productivity, gaining insights, making informed choices, and achieving goals. Elpys saves, secures, integrates, and distributes stakeholder intelligence. Between Elpys's knowledge representation, query capability, and capable AI, Elpys can store intelligence, answer most questions, and package the results ways that please and delight the user.
Current technologies are not designed for intelligence management. But we understand that there may be an investment in current technology that may contain silos of intelligence.
Additionally, there might be sources of intelligence that are not served by current technology. This additional intelligence will need to be gathered and stored.
Stakeholders may also want to use an interface of their own choosing, beyond the feature set of Elpys. We call this a “white label” interface.
To support legacy systems, we offer Elpys as a service. This is where the Elpys knowledge bases augment the legacy data stores, turning the legacy stores into intelligence that can be extended without current system disruption.
To access legacy stores, Elpys follows integration instructions. Integration instructions are stored in an Elpys knowledge base. The integration instructions are encrypted, just like the rest of the Elpys intelligence, and are not available to any unauthorized access.
When a query is sent to Elpys, all the sources of intelligence are available to respond creating a complete and compelling result. When using Elpys as a Service, the returned result is not packed for a human user but for a Elpys service consumer, according to the format that works best for further processing.
Beyond queries, all features of Elpys are fully operational and can be seamlessly executed by using Elpys services. As a service, Elpys can be used as a data base or knowledge base manager. Instead of a relational, JSON, graph, or tabular knowledge representation, we believe the Elpys clusters are a far more expressive, performant, and compelling knowledge representation.
To assist technologists who consume Elpys services, we provide an interface called the Chat Workbench. This interface helps technologists create and test Elpys services for their projects and users.
